Sweet potatoes are fun / because when you dig for them, /they keep on coming.

고구마들이 재미있다 / 왜냐하면 당신이 그들을 위해서 삽질을 했을때 그들은 계속  있기 때문이다.

This poor farmer tells President Lee Myung-bak / he’s got “quite a harvest there.”

예전 영어를 공부를 할 때, 신문도 보면서 영어 공부를 하고 싶었지만...
KoreaTimes를 볼 엄두가 안났다.
내가 해석하는 것이 맞는 것일까라는 두려움과 정확히 해석되지 않을 때의 그 짜증스러움 때문에.
이제 블로그를 시작하면서 취미로 한다고 생각하니까 그리 무섭지도 않았다.
내가 전문번역가도 아닌데 우리나라말도 아닌 외국어 해석에 조금 틀린다고 어떠하리라~
혹여나 이 글을 보고 영어나 시사 혹은 그 둘다에 재미를 느낀다면 블로그 주인장으로서 그 만큼 좋은일이 어디 있으랴~

아직도 영어 시험을 치면 70점을 넘기기 어려운 실력이므로 의역·혹은 직역상 틀린 점이 있으면 꼬릿말을 달아주길 바랍니다. 바로 수정하겠습니다. ^^
